Iowa State’s ladies’s basketball group picked up some publish play help for the 2020-21 season Monday.
Lindsey Jarosinski, a 6-foot-5 ahead from Wake Forest, is transferring to Iowa State. The freshman will sit out next season but be eligible the following season.
“We couldn’t be more excited to add Lindsey to the Iowa State household,” the Cyclones’ head coach, Bill Fennelly, stated in a press release. “Lindsey was rated as a prime-50 player out of high school and was pursued by many faculties when she decided to transfer. She matches the Iowa State Approach and what we’d like on our group — each on and off the courtroom. Lindsey adds a lot-wanted depth to our inside recreation. This redshirt yr shall be nice for her in every approach. I know our followers are going to take pleasure in watching her for 3 years in a Cyclone uniform.”
Jarosinski was ranked 44th nationally by Blue Star Basketball, coming out of a high school. During her one season at Wake Forest, Jarosinski averaged 1.4 points and 1.8 rebounds per recreation in 27 video games. She averaged 9.1 minutes per recreation.
“The primary time I stepped foot on campus, I knew that it was a perfect match for me,” Jarosinski stated. “The environment and workforce chemistry felt like residence. Iowa State is strictly what I was in search of. I can not wait to be a Cyclone for the subsequent 4 years.”
