Authorities are on the lookout for a young lady who is “infatuated” with the Columbine High Faculty capturing. She’s believed to be dangerous, made threats.

DENVER — The FBI confirmed there isn’t a longer a menace to the Denver group.

An 18-yr-previous lady infatuated with Columbine who made “credible threats” towards Denver-area faculties 4 days before the 20th anniversary of the mass capturing, is lifeless of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, Jefferson County Sheriff Jeff Shrader stated at an afternoon news convention. 

Sol Pais was discovered Wednesday in Clear Creek County, west of Denver, near a small ski resort close to Mount Evans, the CBS tv affiliate in Denver and MSNBC reported. 

The FBI tweeted, “THERE IS NO LONGER A THREAT TO THE COMMUNITY. More info to comply with shortly.”

Police stated Pais traveled from Miami to Colorado on Monday night time, and bought a pump-motion shotgun and ammunition. They declined to specify the precise nature of the threats, and asked the general public to call authorities if they noticed her. Authorities stated Pais must be thought-about “extraordinarily harmful” and should not be approached.

The FBI’s Rocky Mountain Protected Streets Process Drive issued a notice Tuesday that stated police who come into contact with Pais should detain her and evaluate her mental health.

Sheriff’s spokesman Mike Taplin stated the threats she made have been basic and not particular to any faculty.

The Denver, Douglas County and Cherry Creek faculty districts referred to as off Wednesday courses, activities and athletics at all faculties late Tuesday night time, citing “safety considerations associated to a reputable menace towards faculties in the space.”

The Jefferson County Faculty District, which includes Columbine, also referred to as off courses for Wednesday.

Earlier, authorities launched a number of photographs of Pais, described as having brown hair and typically sporting glasses. Safety considerations prompted dozens of faculties to increase police presence or cancel after-faculty actions.

“She was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, camouflage pants, and black boots,” the sheriff’s office said. 

State public safety officials urged all Denver metro-area schools to increase security and then release students following the threat, which came in around noon. In a lockout, school buildings are closed to public access but classes continue normally inside. In many cases, schools released students for the day at the normal time, but asked parents to show ID when picking them up.
