Police believe mountain lion spotted in Des Moines has moved on



Des Moines police have acquired two further unconfirmed mountain lion sightings within the city, but say they are assured the one seen on video last week has moved out of the town.Police acquired two calls Wednesday morning about sightings. Sgt. Paul Parizek stated one got here from the world of fortieth Road and Kingman Boulevard. Parizek stated a short time later, one other caller stated they saw a mountain lion at Southeast 30thStreet and MLK Parkway.Parizek stated police are assured the mountain lion seen last week has moved south of the town in an unpopulated area.
