A pancake house is ready to begin serving breakfast all day to hungry clients in Waukee.
The new location of IHOP in Waukee is putting on the ending touches and can be ready to open Tuesday morning at one hundred fifty SE Alice’s Street in Waukee. In addition to breakfast classics, the restaurant will serve burgers, sandwiches, entrees and salads.

“Ending touches are an important,” wrote IHOP Waukee on its Facebook page. “The Grand Opening is this Tuesday, March nineteenth. Doors open at 6 a.m. Hope to see you all!”
The 185-seat restaurant is owned by franchisee Catherine Annicchiarico, 42, and operated by her brother and franchise companion, Stephen Linnett, 38, of Des Moines. They each moved to Des Moines from Texas over 12 years in the past.
With the addition of the Waukee location, there will probably be 5 IHOPs in the metro altogether. The pair also personal and function places at 6301 Douglas Ave. in Urbandale and 4807 SE 14th St. in Des Moines.
“Waukee is simply exploding,” Linnett stated. “There aren’t that many stand-alone sitdown restaurants in the area and it just seemed like a pure match. They didn’t have something this far west and there is so much residential improvement in this space so we needed to get here early.”
The opposite two IHOPs are situated at 2402 SE Delaware Ave. in Ankeny and 5045 Bentley Drive in West Des Moines.
