Authorities responded Wednesday morning to a reported photographs fired incident involving a police officer in Jeffersontown.

The capturing was reported about 10:30 a.m. near Watterson Path and Ruckriegel Parkway, in line with authorities.

A Jeffersontown Police Division dispatcher stated the Louisville Metro Police Department was initially handling the incident and referred additional questions to the LMPD.

A Louisville Metro Police Division spokesperson did not instantly return a request for comment.

It was not immediately clear which department the concerned officer belongs to and who fired the photographs.

The Jeffersontown Police Department posted on Facebook about eleven a.m. that visitors in all instructions on Watterson Trail between Dell Street and Willow Avenue “is shut down until additional discover.”
