The Indianola boys gained at Mount Nice and at house over Newton to enhance to 14-3 on the season.

Indianola is eight-three within the Little Hawkeye Conference.

Indianola jumped to a fast lead on the best way to a 68-forty eight victory at Mount Nice on Feb. 9.

The Indians opened the game on a 20-5 first-quarter run, extending their benefit to 39-19 at the half. Indianola maintained the advantage in the second half.

Senior Evan Gauger led the best way with 23 factors with senior Quinn Vesey including 15 and junior AJ Toigo 12. Junior Tyce Johnson chipped in eight, senior Matt Deike six and junior Nick Piper and senior Garrett Aiello two each. Vesey had 5 assists with Gauger getting 4, Toigo three, Johnson two and Aiello one.

Vesey had eight rebounds with Gauger getting four, Johnson and Deike three every, Toigo and junior Blake Kennedy two every and junior Luke Youmans and junior Andrew Lester one every. Toigo had five steals with Gauger and Vesey getting two every and Johnson and Deike one each. Gauger, Johnson and Deike each blocked a shot.

Indianola 76, Newton 47

Indianola bolted to a quick lead and completed with a seventy six-47 win at house over Newton on Feb. 8.

The Indians opened the game on a 19-eight run and led 37-20 on the half. Indianola put the game out of attain with a 27-10 third quarter.

Gauger scored 25 to steer the staff. Vesey and Johnson every sank 4 three-pointers and totaled 16 factors for the game. Deike chipped in 10, senior Alex Powell 4, Toigo and junior Tom Krapfl two each senior Dylan Hildreth one. Vesey had seven assists with Gauger getting six, Toigo three, Hildreth two and Johnson one.

Johnson had eight rebounds with Gauger and Vesey every getting seven, Deike 5, Toigo and senior Garrett Aiello two each and Hildreth, junior Nick Piper and Powell one every. Toigo had 4 steals with Gauger getting two. Piper blocked a shot.
