Vaughn Spencer was excited to see his pals shave their heads.

The 11-yr-previous fifth-grader, who was recognized with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in September, spent most of his time at house together with his mother and father, older sister and younger brother.

On Friday, the Northern Nevada Youngsters’s Most cancers Basis organized the 14th annual St. Baldrick’s Foundation head-shaving occasion at the downtown Reno Ballroom.

For Vaughn, it was a chance to hang out together with his buddies and speak about their favourite video video games.

“The night time before the event, he was up all night time throwing up,” Vaughn’s mom, Autumn Spencer, stated. “We gave him anti-nausea drugs, but these don’t actually work.”
