Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds can be working on addressing the “expertise disaster” within the American workforce in her new appointment on the American Workforce Policy Advisory Board, a nationwide council run by President Donald Trump’s administration.
The board, co-chaired by Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross and presidential adviser and daughter Ivanka Trump, was created by government order in July 2018. Reynolds and the 24 different members appointed Wednesday will make policy proposals and work with employers, faculties and unions to improve job coaching and schooling throughout the nation.
