Tex Leon Koehn


Tex Leon Koehn, seventy eight, of McPherson, KS, handed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2017, at his house in McPherson.

Tex was born on November 25, 1939, the son of Roy and Evelyn (Becker) Koehn, in McPherson, KS.

On September three, 1961, Tex was united in marriage to Donna Grace Parr in McPherson, KS. That they had two youngsters, Tamie and Todd. She preceded him in dying on July 31, 2011, after forty nine years of marriage.

Tex lived in McPherson, working at Continental Aluminum, Vulcan Metals, after which retiring from Walmart. Shortly after getting married, he served for 2 years in U.S. Military as a communications specialist through the Vietnam Warfare. Tex liked enjoying guitar, listening to music, fishing & tenting, and spending time together with his grandchildren.

Survivors embrace: daughter, Tamie Wallace of McPherson, KS; son, Todd Koehn and spouse, Julie, of Canton, KS; 5 grandchildren, Aaron, Jeremy, Hint, & Hannah Koehn of Canton, KS and Lacie Bate and husband, Ryan, of Inman, KS; nice-grandson, Lakin Bate; sister, Trudy Clark and husband, David, of Selden, NY; and a nephew, Justin Author.

He was preceded in dying by his mother and father, brother, Kent, and spouse, Donna.

The memorial service with Army Honors will probably be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, December 12, 2017, at Stockham Household Funeral Residence.

Memorial donations could also be given to Friendship Meals or Alzheimer’s Affiliation in care of Stockham Household Funeral Residence, 205 North Chestnut, McPherson, KS 67460.
